Default My Accord 1997 lx---I know

Can I swap an h22 tranny and keep the stock block? What kind of performance would I get? Any other suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Yes, you can. This will yield to better acceleration but it isn't good for your f22 motor at higher sustained speeds because the gear ratios for the h22 transmission are shorter than the f22 transmission, hence the f22's slower acceleration (transmission-wise). Your rpms will be much higher at any given speed.
