I have a 2001 odyssey purchased new which developed a shimmy in the steering after approx 30,000 kms. Servicing found no obvious problems, ie warped rotors, wheel balance, alignments as problem has persisted since and vehicle presently has 180,000 kms. Problem is slightly diminished with the purchase of new tires but returns after about 15000 kms of wear. Not trusting the service garage, I have checked runout on rotors with dial indicators and determined runout to be less than .001 inch on either inside or outside of each rotor. Does anybody have any comments, similar experiences or suggestions?
