BOMEX!!!
I really love the Bomex body kit for the Integra!! But, from what i hear, it is made from Fiberglass. And i heard never to get fiberglass because it can crack easily?? is this true?? are the bomex kits built well??? Does anybody know where i can get one cheap, the best ive sceen is like $1100!!! Thanks
I have a Bomex kit on my civic and it DOES crack very easily! I've cracked my side skirt and my front bumper cover in two spots!!!!
It's even worse when it's cold! Plus some girl backed into it and spidered the paint and the fiberglass in front of the head light.
I do love the way it looks though!

there are some SWEEET looking body kits out there. the urithane (SP) ones are going to be fine, and the fiberglass ones are fine also. Just get what YOU WANT....not what people in here say what you should do
IMO....i think that thing sucks...keep it stock, keep it real
to each his own.

I had a A FULL Bomex DC, one if first in states. I love Bomex, best aero kit, thick hand laid fiberglass, of course fiberglass will crack, treat it with respect, without a doubt Bomex makes the best kits, Most aggressive, the only bad thing. When a pizza guy hits you at like 50 and throws you into another car, then the kit will become destroyed. I have the sideskirts, mirrors and wing for sale, all still perfect, let me know if your interested.

You sure your kit is real Bomex? I doubt it because with a kit costing that much i would think there wouldn't be such a big gap between the headlights and bumper.
The bumper isn't screwed down in that pic either... it's just resting there. I just finished the new suspension and wanted to see what the lowest setting looked like with the bumper.
Bottom line is Fiberglass cracks. Get the kit if you like the way it looks, just don't be surprised if you accidently touch a curb and break the bottom of the front bumper.
But, I believe that Fiberglass is also the easyest to fix if it does crack or something goes wrong. Where as urathane your screwed if something goes wrong.
Correct me if im wrong, but i think i read this somewhere.

they both can be fixed using more fiberglass. However urethane can withstand a lot more pressure before parts start snapping. I can't count the time's my Type R lip has hit a curb, and yet the only thing ever damaged is the paint, even if it's a solid hit.
