id say that one would cost pretty good depending on the shape of the car of course. I would say about 3K

I would say around 2500 if it is real clean..... If there is any body damage or the interior is shot anywhere between 1200-2000

hand him $2400 cash. If he doesn't take it say thank you and walk away. He'll change his mind.

correct. Money always talks. And he will probably say that someone offered him 2600.

auto

don't make the same mistake I did, my first 92 hatch was an auto. then bought a other EH2, 5sp of course, thinking that I would sell my first car very easy. but NO ONE wants to buy an automatic civic.

if you really want the auto, then buy the car, but low ball the **** out of him

You didn't mention that you saw it at a dealership. KBB on trade is like $1380 or somethign like that. $ 2885 is kbb for private party transfer.. I would offer him $2000 cash and see what he says. Good deals are always coming up just don't be in a rush. My partner just sold his 98 dx hatch with a 2000y8 motor in it delsol seats rotas with brand new azenis. He sold it for $4400 with a clean title. You jsut have to look around. Don't just jump on the first car you see. If you are looking for something that is more performance minded stay away from the auto, You will be better served by a five speed.
