seems as if one side is a different color/ less brighter than the other. could be dirt in there? anyone else have a solution, or the same problem?

 

Could it be the effect of headlight aiming? The driver side is lower than the passenger side to avoid glare for oncoming traffic.

 

hMm, i checked the bubble- they are same on both sides. it's jus the color that is different, i tried switching them around / same thing.

 

Have you tried cleaning the outside of your headlights?

 

that i have not tried that. should i use CLR or some chemical to clean the outside?

it just looks different 'cuz your driver side light is aimed lower than the passenger side. It also is due to the projector lense which is round and it emits "different" color light depending on the level adjustment.

 

You don't really need anything special. Just use what you would use to clean plastic. I just use soap + water and then dry it off. Cleaned my friend's 84 Celica's headlights for the first time and WHOA~! He increased his output by ten fold. LOL.

 

In my ITR, on the driver side, the bubble does not say the truth.
Maybe I'm wrong, but at "cero" it's not at the same level as of the passenger side
