Default d16 oil pan on d17

Will a d16 oil pan mount onto a d17? I am turboing my 03 civic and don't want to drill a hole in my stock pan. I have a d16 in my garage that is unusable and want to know if the oil pan will fit on my d17 so I can just drill and weld that instead.

Me?...Im questioning why this guy calls him silly? Have you looked at a d17 block and a d16 block. They are remarkably similar. I am wondering if this guy knows something by saying "your silly", thats all

Well if it is from the same year and the same literage like 1.5, 1.6, 1.8, etc. it should in theory work, hondas are very interchangable.

I am not totally sure. But I think they changed things up when they switched from the d16's to the 17's

um i can almost bet that it will. i know u can bolt the d17 oil pump on to a d16 block so im assuming u can also use the d16 pan.
