Default Suspension Techniques rear sway bar

Who has one of these installed? Ive got one for my '97 2.2CL, but am missing some of the hardware. I just want to see/know how it installs underneath so I can see what hardware I need. If youve got pics, they would help ALOT. Thanks!

PS - search gave me ****

i've got one hooked up to my 96 accord, and i know exactly what you mean about the tricky to install part...my car didn't come with a rear sway bar from the factory (b/c it was an lx)...fortunately, there were some predrilled holes from the factory where the sway bar is to be installed...i'm guessing your cl is most likely the same setup in the rear as accords and cl's were nearly identical chassis' for these years...if i can, i'll snap some shots...

the two rubber semi-circle bushings are to be bolted in the middle of the car underneath the gas tank...there are bolts here, about a foot and a half away from one another...take the plate that is on the bottom of the semicircle bushings off, remove these bolts, and then bolt that plat on to each...then remount the plates onto the bushing clamp, making sure to secure it tightly...there is really only one way that the sway bar will be able to go (snake through around the suspension) and you will know it when you get it in the right place...the sway bar end links then go through the holes of the end of the sway bar and bolt to the rear lower control arm...hope that helps, as i know it's all confusing to understand...

hmm yeah, pretty confusing in words. id really appreciate it if you could get some pics for me. so one end of the endlink goes on the bar and the other end goes to the factory mounting point? right now i have the bar, 2 main bushings & clamps, and both endlinks (total of 8 urethane bushings, 2 bolts, 8 washers, 2 spacers). did you use more parts than that?

btw all 97 CL's came with a rear sway bar, but they look like spaghetti compared to the ST bar!

You really want to get the instruction manual to figure out how to install it. I know I wouldnt have been able to install mine without the guide. Try to contact ST and see if you can get it.. it has a list of all the hardware and very thorough instructions.
