Default best cam for me to run?

i have an ls vtec. the block is a b18b1 and has new bearings but ls rods, arp bolts, and itr pistons.
the head is pr3 b16 ported to stock type r spec, milled .030.

Now my question is i would like to be able to run mean cams but i dont know if it will have high enough compression for like sk2 stage 2s. i have been searching but not finding what i need if anyone could help me and give some suggestions for cams that will work out, thanks

Your compression should be a little over 11:1:1 not counting the head being milled. Sk2 says that anything over 11:1:1 is fine for the stage II cams. I'd say this would hold true for most any stage II cam, buddyclub, toda, ect. You could run a mugen head gasket and pick up a little compression as long as clearances are all ok. Check out c-speed.com's compression calculator to figure out where your at. Good luck, don't forget upgraded valve springs with a stage II cam choice!

i wouldnt want to run anything bigger than a toda a on a street motor. They are more for race motors that will get tore down every 15000 miles.
