An intake will not give you higher RPMs you ree-ree

It'll instead give you 2-3 HP!!!!

The pipe doesn't really matter, but get a good filter. The filter is what filters out the elements.

thats what i did why pay 200 bucks for the same **** just name brand all it is is a tube that collects cold air --you could even make one if you wanted to just buy a cheap one and use the extra cash to buy a k&n filter

go with a comptech ice box ... or aem short ram ... also .. you gotta ask yourself this ... do you have to have a Certificate like an E.O. number on parts to be "legal" to drive cause in Cali , if you got parts that dont have them ... they tend to be di*ks ... and right you tickets for modified this .. and that , and it can be a hassle good luck

be like me and get an awesome hook up for a V2 AEM intake for 100. It was missing filter and engine mount bracket. Then call up your friend who works at AEM and get the filter and mount for free!!!

I say just buy a cheap pipe and K&N that baby(like others have said above). If I was going to purchase a brand name pipe I would get an AEM V2

y may i ask, the v2 wont have gains over any other intake and for 250 bucks it isnt worth it at all, for that u could get a cam and be getting much better gains...

ha ha.. a better filter will have a better CFM rating and will flow better...it's not about having crazy protection...

Just buy and AEM or a fake j's... or even the cheapest one on ebay... then when you understand a bit more about tunning cars and what adds HP and what doesn't get yourself a good filter from K&N or somewhere...

You wouldn't happen to mean "raise" your HP, would you? Because the word you're looking for is "raise" not "higher", which - incidentally - isn't even a verb. How did you manage to spell the other stuff correctly? You even edited it once?

I'm confused and every time I read it I get a sharp, shooting pain in my temporal lobe. Time to lay down.
