you know i was wondering about jgheads, i mean people who have got built blocks and sleeved blocks from them complain, but are there heads any good ? has anyone had something go wrong with a jg head ?
I have a friend that is having a problem with his JG engine.......HE CAN'T GET IT BACK.....it's been a year they have his money and won't return calls.........
I have to say that my JG experience was good. Javier did exactly what he said he would do. Granted it took a month longer than promised but I did get everything I paid for and the motor was strong. All together the motor took 3 months from start to finish. My flow number were not quite that good though.
our jg expereince was screwed up do to the shop we went through in san antonio tx, they screwed us over and jg over
JG has been very helpfull with me and the new shop in san antonio javier and james
in my book
it was a year later and i had somthing that was purchased from jg, and they purchased it back from me,

JG if anything, does do some really nice headwork. Have bought 3 heads from him, and all of em have been a real piece of art. I havent gotten my new one done yet, but I got a custom spec b16 head for my turbo app. It flows 318cfm
Heres some pics:

Heres a SOHC Vtec head we had. Talk about a nightmare to get working on the street w/ the 85vt80 cam from JG. That thing didnt want to idle ever..
JG
however, it does take patience to deal with him.

NO WAY... maybe if they took the spark plug out while it was on the flowbench. (which I know wouldn't happen at JG)
If it did flow this number, I can only imagine how sluggish this thing would be on the street.

this car is a street car and he only takes it to 8000rpms
lets see how it goes
st00pid in houston should be tuning it right now or soon or 2morrow

it's a race head and is not going on what it's intended purpose was and will probably run like a dog with flees unless that engine was built with some inches and compression,
