How much would u have to shave off the head to raise compression .5 points has anyone done the math????????

 

shave .5 and be done.

Done with the head that is!

Why ruin a good head AND screw up cam timing?

well. heres my 2 cents. if you dont know. then u probably cant do it ethier. so just have a mechanic/machining shop that knows hondas do it. not too pricey.


and mista heads come a dime a dozen. i have 4 of em in my garage right now. fully built ready to bolt on.
these days honda parts are always a dime a dozen. its finding a complete motor+tranny combo that is hard.
i can replace my b16a for 600 bux full motor - tranny. legit and low mileage. dont be so jumpy to say ruin a honda part. hehe. no pun intended. maybe its your location. im in southern california. everyone and their mom has a lil dropped honda these days. its trendy.

 

just pull a layer out of the head gasket
