Default Stock cams or Type S cams for turbo????

i know about that whole overlap deal. But i want a different reason. Any suggestions?

Type-S cams should be fine for turbo. They have higher lift, which is good and not much more duration I believe (correct me if I'm wrong). With extensive tuning I bet you can make great power, you can always dial out some overlap with cam gears.

thanks for your input... the reason why i ask this and not try both is because its a bitch changing them. (for me that is)

If you're gonna spend the money on cams for a turbo
you would be better off getting a set of custom grinded ones
made specifically for a turbo application.

The stock and Type-S have the same overlap. The S intake cam opens the valves 5* earlier and the exhaust valves open 5* later for a total of 240* duration on each cam. So I would use the type-S but I would be weary of going over stock red line w/o spring upgrade.
