forged lug nuts?

forged lug nuts?

just curious if using forged lug nuts and using air tools to tighten them was bad, i heard that it would strip the studs, any thoughts if this true?

I would never use a gun to tighten aluminum or alloy lugs. Only a torque wrench. You will damage them...

It's really not the studs, it's the nice forged lugs you'll prolly ruin

aren't forged lugs stronger then regular cast lugs. i know the ones im getting are made of cold forged chrome vandium and are said to be twice as strong as convetional lugs

might be stronger but you can still break them.
