Default rod bearing install. plz help

alright i got a problem with my #4 cyl(turbo single vtec z6 with stock internals on a 99ex block), i had a bad bearing on the rod (low oil and no warning light), so i replaced it, and its still ticken and prematurely wearing the rod bearing over the course of 5 minutes idle time, i see this plastiguage and number matching table in my book, but the bearings i had bought were standard and dint have the color code. so i dont think im settin the right bearings in. any info will be greatly appreciated
i also replaced the rod because after measurement the rod was slightly ovaled out. the old rod had a number 3 stamped on it and the new one has a number 2. i dunno if that matters but just more info.

no its polished to a mirror shine, the rod never came in contact with the crank, always had a bearing between the two

did you check the clearances between the crank and the new rod? with this unknown bearing you put in you could have already spun it.
