Default Plugging/removing B16 Oil squirters

Has anyone done this? How important are the oil squirters on forged pistons daily driven? The reason why is because I'm planning on using a different crank with forged pistons on a B16 to get more displacement out of it, but I can already tell that the oil squirters will get in the way.

oil squirters are not really necessary with forged pistons.

Thats what I was thinking since the piston to wall clearance is going to be higher on them. Well bump for more opnions.
