Default idling high

it is idling high it is missing a sensor down by the air box witch is vacum line #8 what does it do i need help please also it over heats it has a new thermo. and all new hoeses and raidiatior . one more thing the bolts that hold the drive axle keep breaking why is this and i dont burn out ..??????????????????

it maybe idling high because of the vacume leak .. other than that. i have no idea. plug the leak and it should idle normally. i used a propane bottle (not lit) around my motor to detect vacume leaks. prob not the safest thing but when it sucks in the propane it bogs down and you know your in the right spot.
