Default new and needs advice

hello fellow H-T memebers. im new to the forums and would like a little advice. Well my problem is that i have a stock 91 d16 hatch and my engine is burning oil and one piston ring is wearing. oil is leaking into my spark plug chamber resulting to burning oil. my question is how much would this job cost and would it be worth fixing even if im goin to be swaping my motor in the near future? i dont really want to put money into this engine but if the price it right i will just to have a running car. thanks guys

not worth it. get a new motor, a SOHC ZC would be the easiest swap for you.

I would say its not worth it, you can pick up a block from $1-$300 in good condition and just swap it in.

Hell, if it is a D16 hatch, the SOHC ZC will be a stock replacement
