I have a B16 swap, and for whatever reason, the "front clip" that the motor came in had a p72 with it. I don't know why this would be the case, but in any event, that is what I have. I just want to get the p30, since that is the ecu that would probably work best with it and I just want to know if I can just unplug the p72 and plug in the p30 for it to run properly. Thanks for any help that can be offered

I have a B16A2 with a P30 in my 92 VX. Is the P72 OBD1 or OBD2? Cause If your P72 is OBD1 then I'll straight trade you.

And I believe that they have the same pinouts... Some of my friends on ClubCivic.com have done that ecu swap.

 

Is there any way that you can find out for sure if they are a straight swap? Besides, why do you want a p72? Thanks for the reply and I will let you know about swapping.
