Default my instrument cluster bulbs arent #24s

whats the deal i was wondering if anyone else has this problem i went a bought 24s and painted them amber and went to install them and they didnt fit they were to fat to fit in the plastic holder and now im stump so i was just wondering if there is a different size oh and its a 94 civic thanks

come on it really sucks driving with half the dash out just wondering if im retarded or 24s dont fir in all clusters

#24 should be the right number for most of the bulbs. There is one #74 in the cluster and 2 #74's in the climate control. Are you sure you didn't take out the #74 bulb/socket and try putting the 24 bulb into that? You should have like 5 #24 bulbs and 1 #74 bulb in your cluster.

I didn't have any problems putting the #24 bulbs in there sockets, the #74 bulbs however were very tight and required some force to get them in all the way.

there are 2 types of 24's you got to get the smaller ones or you can just push the bigger ones in and chip off a little plastic on the holder but it still works. that is what i did... bc i got the big ones on accident..

I had a light burn out in my tach cluster on my 94ex the only place I could find the right size bulb was the dealer and it was 8.50

I used 24's and 74s, shoved them in and everything has worked fine since
