doing B18A1 swap for '91 DX; do i need different gauge cluster?
I've pretty much decided i'm going with the B18A1 for the swap in my little hatch, because of sheer simplicity, but do i need to get a different gauge cluster, for maybe a bump up in the speedometer? I don't know how fast these little engines go.I'm new to this,
me i used to be a truck guy.

No you don't need a different gauge cluster. A good reason you may want a different gauge cluster is for the tachometer. Otherwise, unless you are going to be over 120mph all the time(the b18a1 is very capable of), than you dont need a different cluster that shows a higher speedometer.
it's going to be the daily driver and weekend warrior...i plan on peicing together a turbo kit, putting AEM and Skunk2 internals, among other things. Get a boost control module, turn the boost down while on the road, turn it up at the track. It's cool that i don't need a different cluster...but can one of u tell me the top speed on a stock b18a1, and the redline, cuz i thought all b-series redlined at 9000rpm.

BAHAHAHA
BAHAHAHA
TOP speed of a B18a with 9000 RPM is a COP behind you chasing you like nothing.
Only if your engine still make power to max it out... it should be around 150-180
