Default Valve to Piston Clearance (searched)

Ok guys, here's the deal. I'm having to assemble my engine in a hurry (don't have a car to get to school!) so I don't have time to clay my engine. I'm not sure this setup will clear:

JE 11:1 compression pistons
Skunk 2 Stage 3 camshafts
stock Type R head (not milled)

all this on a JDM B18c block with a Type R crank and Eagle H-beam rods.

Anyone have a similar setup?

Thanks for your help...

It's never good to rush an engine build just my .02 cents.

Well I'm not rushing it, it's just that claying would take a tad too much longer...

should only take u an hour or 2. aslong as ur using a stock head gasket and don't have a milled head i would think u should be fine. Don't use oversized valves with skunk3s

skunk2 stage 3 are pretty intense even if someone got away with it i would still clay the motor why? its not worth the bullshit. wut happen if you bend a valve because you ddint clay the motor now you have to take everything a part again for no reason. when building a motor take your time bearing clearances a few times. clay the motor degree the cams. take your time and do it right the first time its not worht the hassle to rip it out again imo.

after reading the post undermine i just realized that he has 11.1 u need mroe compression u need a lot for skunk2 stage 3 like 13-14.5 or so read underneath me he giving u good advice.

11:1 compression is not enough for these cams, at least 13:1 would be minimal for the stage 3's. If I was you I would run the stage 2's, you'd make more power with them. if you ran the 3's you'd hit tec and it would just fall on it's face. Another thought.....maybe the Bc 3+'s would be a good choice for fairly mild compression......just my thoughts.

Thank you for you input, guys, I appreciate it. I know I should've clayed the engine, but I'm seriously in debt for time...I also agree on the compression being too low...anyone wanna trade cams? lol...
