Default Does the JL audio 500/1 amp have a subsonic filter?

The reason im asking is cause im going to be putting my 12" L5 into a ported box cause its loder than sealed and the guy at Circuit City said that i should look for a amp w/ a subsonic filter cause L5s are known to blow easily in ported boxes. If it doesnt can someone suggest a good amp to push my 12" L5?
