I love the red DC...... Man that's a nice color. I wish they had given the US Milano Red, PY, NBP/FBP, CW, Silver selections.....
I would have taken red and or silver over the yellow...... Would have added variety and even more uniqueness to the US itr's

out of curiousity, if this is a type r meet, where are all the type r's? i saw two i think, but regardless, atleast there were nice cars there, but how come there aren't any type r's representing?

I wish I could of come out for this. Looks like it was a success. All the cars look good. Hope everyone had a good time. We got jacked by park rangers at the Vancouver meet back in August. Did the cops there do anything or just roll by?
Seattle Type R Meet.....not even close. Not even close. Three Type R's. 1 Million Civic Hatchbacks. Screen name: Epy and I were the only ones that met up at the Tacoma Dome and headed out to Bremerton for the Auto Cross event. Needless to say, all of you that thought about going or wish you did....really missed out on a very good track and a great event.
Unfortunately I was unable to race due to overboosting. So I stood in the pits and took a **** load of pictures with Epy's camera, and worked cone detail. Epy took 2nd place in his class which is pretty cool considering he's only auto X'ed I think one other time. I went for a ride along with him once.
That guy that some of you were talking about that drives the black type r that woops *** was there. He's a pretty cool guy. We talked for quite a while and he gave me a ride during one of his races. He posted the second fastest time in his class. All I have to say is I have all new respect for the Type R, these cars ******* own. It's nice to see it put to the limits and hoosers are bad ***.
I'm supposed to get together with the black type r driver on Wednesday after I have my car properly set up. I guess he wants to go turbo, so he wants to drive my car, which I don't mind.
After talking with some officials about my setup I'd have to run in the same class as modified Evo's STI's and M3's.
Fortunately, I would have a minimum of a 400lb weight difference
.
Corvette Z06's....there were two there. I have an all new respect for these cars and will never talk **** about them again. Bottom line: they were kicking the pants off the Cobras, Porches, 350Z's, STI's....etc.
After the auto cross Epy and I decided to head on down to Tukwilia to make sure the tables were reserved and to be there if anyone showed up early. It turned out to be one group hanging out in the parking lot, one group going to alki to hang out, and another group inside eating. All in all there were about 25 people and about 12 cars.
The dude that drives the blue DC2, his girlfriend was so hot. I hope he didn't mind me flirting with her a little bit and cracking jokes. Sorry man.
After everyone finished eating, I rallied the troops and we took off to Alki beach to meet up with everyone else. On the way there, this guy on a street bike (anyone remember what it was?) pulls up beside us. I give the international sign for 'pop a wheelie'
and he slows down to about 50 then lights it up. He holds the front end up for a good 1/4 mile. Pretty impressive. Pretty stupid for doing it in traffic. Oh well. It was bad *** none-the-less.
Everyone finally makes it to alki and meets up. People pop hoods, laugh, take pictures. Some dude there had a paddle and was walking around paddling people in the ***. It was cut out in the shape of a rising sun with sun rays. Guess he was getting "JDM" on peoples asses
.
I had a two hour drive from Seattle back home so I left around 7pm. I was tired from getting up at 4:30am to make it to the autocross.
Everyone that showed up was super cool, and I'm glad to have met them all. I want to personally thank everyone that showed up. You guys should make it out to Hawaii some time. The import scene is pretty intense.
Thank You for coming, everyone!
