Default What could be making my taillamp/dash light fuse blow so often?

Ill try to explain whats going on the best I can, but im limited in my electrical knowledge.

My fuse that controls my taillights and dash cluster lighting keeps blowing. The headlights continue to work though. I put another one in, and it was fine for a while, until I made a hard shift into 2nd gear one night and it went out. I didnt think anything of it, replaced the fuse, and it was fine for an hour or so.

Then, driving on bumpy roads, it will sometimes go out. I cant figure out what the deal is. My guess is that there is a frayed wire grounding/shorting out somewhere, but i have no idea on where to look. I just need to fix this problem, because driving home on a dark turnpike and having your lights **** on you sucks. The fuzz dosent like it either.

I had the same problem with mine once but it was b/c I didn't tape a spliced wire up good enough and it was touching metal. If you have wired anything into your turn signal lights or anything like that check there.

The only wiring I have done would be the nitrous relays, but the kit hasnt been on the car since the problem started. Plus that has nothing to to with my lights, so Im stumped lol. Thanks for the input though.

Like, as in a bare wire touching metal? Any idea where to look (i.e. under dash, near headlight housing, etc?)

One time my co-worker installed an aftermarket radio in an eg and he hooked up the 'power antenna' wire on the honda harness, and it caused the tail / dash light fuse to keep blowing. Do you have an aftermarket deck in there?
