P1457 leak in EVAP control system....my light check engine came on. i thought it was from gasing the car with the car on but i turn my car off and the light still comes on. so i bought a new gas cap from autozone and now the light is atill on but maint. req. light flashes 3 times and turns off when i start the car. any one got any ideas. i know theres pressure in my tank cuz i hear the pressure coming out when i unscrew it. thankss alot guys

There's a lot of that going around, isn't there... Did AutoZone tell you it was the gas cap? It isn't - loose cap would set P1456.

P1457 = EVAP leak - control canister system
