AIC valve problem

Default AIC valve problem

ok, my ECU is throwing a AIC valve check engine light. I replaced the AIC valve today the AIC is still throwing check. with lopy idle and all....could it be my ECU? maybe a shorted wire? I didn't unplug the battery so should I do that and see if it resets the ECU? need help asap guys.

I assume you are referring to the IAC (idle air control) valve. You may want to check your idle speed adjustment. If the idle is set too high, the idle will fluctuate rapidly up and down as the IAC tries to compensate. Also make sure you don't have any vacuum leaks which would cause idle problems. I'm not sure if either of these conditions would set an IAC code though. Something to look at anyway.
