Default New engine and valves hitting pistons?

I just had my engine fully built by North East Auto machine in Hartford CT as some of you guys recommended him. It had new farrea valves (stock size), Pauter X-beam rods, Wiseco pistons, and a copper cometic gasket. We tried to fire it up saturday but she sounded like she was on 3 cylinders and you could hear the valves slapping so we shut it down within seconds. After the leak down test cylinder 3 is leaking really bad on the intake side and 4 is leaking as well. I was at the shop when the timing was set so i know that was perfect and the cam gears were set straight up and when the engine was spun by hand everything seemed fine. Its a JDM B20A for an 89 accord which is basically like a LS engine.

Any thoughts would be nice since i called the machine shop and he is stumped. I figured i would as since it may have happened to someone else.

I had the stock cams in their and the pistons are 8.5:1 compression ratio.

sounds like cam timing is way off..........there should be hardly no interfearence with 8.5:1cr

Thats what i thought but everything looks perfect and my only thoughts at this point are the cam gears are degreed wrong. They are set at 0 and line up perfectly at TDC so that would be my only guess at this point. Im going to pull out the stock cam gears to check to be sure since its really the only thing i can think of and is looking more and more like the problem.

I just went to check the cam gears and they are fine so it definatly was not the cam timing since it was set straight up and i even watched the machine shop set the timing. So im stumped and im just going to leave it up to the shop to figure it out. I just wanted a second opinion so the shop dont give me any bs and put the blame on me.

Thanks for the suggestions!
