I drive a 92 hatch with a d16z6 blah blah i recently installed a camshaft and whatever goodies it need to run weeks later my temp. guage is rising towards the H once in awhile, so i got fed up and bought a brand new honda OEM waterpump because i've seen some leaks from the timing belt side, and also replaced my thermostat and a new radiator cap. Everything went smooth again for 2 weeks but now my temp guage is going up a quarter away from H while my car is still on, I turned off the car, started it back up still went back to the same spot on the guage so i just tried to engage the car in a moving motion the temp guage drops back to normal so i guess its normal, but somehow my resevoir bottle always get overflowed............... whats the cause????

Did you flush out the system, and make sure the fan is turning on?

 

check out your radiator, i no my old one had a buncha small rocks and the fins were bent, it would overheat on hot days. i got a dual core radiator at autozone for 99 bucks, good stuff now!

 

i flushed out my system yes, my fan automatically turns on when my key is in the ignition and i have a koyo radiator

 

anybody need more info........ or maybe it just acts like this

 

could also be the beginning of a headgasket problem...
