Default Idle issue after obd 1 conversion

I was using a chipped pr3 ecu with no problems.
Did an obd 1 conversion yesterday. I'm now running a chipped p28. Car idless and drives fine.
The car has a new problem. Imagine stopping for a light, car still moving in neutral. My rpms stay constant at 1600 until the speedo reaches 0 (car is not at a complete stop).

I did not use shielded wires for the distributor. 6 of 7 were shielded.

Think it's the chip or do i need to install shielded cable on the dizzy?
Thanks to everyone who contributes to my thread

Mine does this too. I'm obd1 with the boomslang harness and p28. Some of the time motor won't idle until the car stops... I guess it's not a problem for me. Just so you know you're not the only one...............

It could be the IACV....Have you checked for codes yet?
Have you tried setting your IDLE...

Everything was cool with the obd 0 setup. I doubt it's the iacv, but i'll clean it tomorrow. Can't hurt anything. My car idled at 900 rpm and still does. If my speedo doesn't read 0 the idle is stuck at 1600.

With a stock p28 i threw codes 8 (tdc) and 20 (electric load detector). I used a stock ecu to check my work. Adjusted timing and tried another ecu and was code free. After that installed the chip.

I gotta check the plugs tomorrow. Drove it 60 miles and almost went through a half tank of gas.

I'm getting hondata S200 soon, hopefully that problem will go away.

Thanks for the replies, anyone else have some input?
