NEED help ASAP. Civic won't start after changin T-belt
Have a 97 Civic (non-Vtech).
I just got done changing the timing belt, water pump, plugs, cv-joints and a clutch kit. Now after I put it all back together it will not start.
I have spark and gas and recheck the timing belt to make sure the crank and pulley are set corect (TDC on #1).
When I try to start it the engine seem to be spinning faster that it ususally does. Kind of like when there is not compressoin.
Please help.
Thanks.

Thanks. I moved it over to the tech forum https://honda-tech.com/zeropost?cmd=fshow&id=15
I did check before I posted to see if the timing was 180 deg. off, but i think I have it right. I have the marks lined up on the crank and the cam pulley when #1 is on the compression stroke. Correct?
Other thoughts? Keep them coming.
Thanks guys.

get the car to tdc. take cap off the dist. and make sure the rotor is pointing at the #1 spark plug. do you smell fuel when trying to crank it? check the wires again just to be sure they are in the correct order. if all that's good' it'll be a pain in the ***, but to check the timing between the crank and the cam you'll need to remove the lower timing belt cover and look to see that the woodruff key is pointing at the arrow cast into the block at the crankshaft, when the motor is at tdc.
