Tons o' bumpsteer in '91 CRX--need fix, please
It's lowered with Neuspeed Race springs front and rear on Tokico Blue shocks. After the drop, I got a four-wheel allingment (just a standard one at the local repair shop). The only other thing I have done to the suspension are 16" wheels with 205/40-16s. Oh, and the bumpstops weren't cut, but the Tokicos came with shorties and I used those.
The ride is super harsh and jolty, and the car jets sideways unexpectedly on many bumps--especially when only one half of the car hits a particular bump. I would think that even though that's not a lot of mods, it should ride considerably better.
Does anyone else have this problem? How is it fixed? I think I heard of a fix by raising the steering rack--has anyone done this? Please help 'cause it sucks.
