Default Do I need new shocks? CRX with Neuspeed springs/Tokico blues

I have a CRX that is lowered with Neuspeed sport springs and Tokico blue shocks. This combo has been on the car for about 7 years now, and rode good at first. But now the ride quality sucks. Driving over uneven roads is like being in a wagon or something. I can pretty much feel every small bump I go over. And now the front driver side shock area is making a clanking noise when I go over a bump.

Does it sound like my shocks are blown? I bought the Tokico blues a long time ago, not realizing they are a stock replacement. How would the Tokico Illuminas ride quality be? Are they better suited for a lowered car?

I don't race this car at all, its my daily driver, so I don't need a $1000 suspension setup. I also think I need to replace my bushings. Should I just stick with stock bushings over urethane bushings from Energy Suspension?

I just want to keep the current lowered stance, which is about 2", and have a decent ride quality. Thanks for the suggestions.

Yes, your shocks are most likely blown.

Yes, Illuminas are much better suited for lowered vehicles.
