Some idle issues
I just converted my car (96 dx coupe) to obd1 using a p06 ecu, I have a d16y8 intake manifold, and I'm using a d16z6 throttle body and IACV.
My car isn't throwing any codes but since I switched to the 2 wire IACV for the obd1 ecu, my car is idling funny. It idles at 800 when warm, but it's sputtering slightly, and then every 30-45 seconds or so it'll drop down to 300-400 rpm and then almost die. It'll slowly climb back up to 800 rpm and then repeat itself.
I've cleaned the IACV, and bled the air out of the coolent. Anybody have any other suggestions? Also the IACV is humming pretty loud, and then it shuts up if I unplug it. I've tried 2 different IACV's and they both make the same loud humming sound.
TIA

I have had the same problem with my original IACV. But i haven't tried cleaning it. I have heard that you have to make sure to clean it really good. But besides that I don't know any options but to buy a new one and they are like $300 from Honda.
