plz help me understand!
Sorry to bother you all, I was just hoping someone could explain the difference between Saturated and peak and hold injectors to me!!
I want to knw which ones to get.
Thanks in advance.

P&H: low-ohm (2-3ohm) and require either individual resistors (10ohm) or the OEM resistor box (4 10ohm resistors in a pack together). These were used in 88-91 Civics.
Saturated: high-ohm (12ohm) and do NOT require additional resistance. These are used in 92+ Civics.

Get either of them - just make sure that the total resistance seen by the ECU is correct.

I see, so it makes no difference whatsoever to performance?
So in 92 prelude, I should probably go with the Saturated ones...

I am a proponent of running the correct injector type for the injector driver being used.
You see, the way each injector is opened and kept open, is different between the two units, however it has become common place to run P&H injectors, with some additional resistance, with ECUs that originally used saturated style injectors.
Are you gonna harm anything - no, just so long as the correct amount of resistance is achieved.
Typically, because of the way P&H injectors are triggered, they are more responsive when asked to 'open'.
I'm not gonna say it makes a difference or not in performance - I'll let someone who has used the two, to chime in on that issue.

If you notice, 92-95 preludes, although OBD1, still have the resistor box and thus use peak & hold injectors..
