Default 1992 honda civic hb with 20k miles.

just want to know what it is worth, so if you were going to buy this car how much would you pay?

this car was owned by a ninety year old laddie, serviced every two months, and babied. it is a dx model and had no major dings or scratches.

thanks for your time.

Yes it is bad.

Try not to make too many similar threads. Combine 2 similar threads into one

I told you on the other thread. KBB is around $3,000. But, many people WILL pay more for something soo clean and new.

If it really has only 20K miles AND is in good condition i would have already bought it. 3000 is an ok price but if you can haggle at all you should be able to get it for 2500.

Give the old lady a break! Seems like you know this lady...? I'd be honest with her. Never know Karma might get you at the end.

Just tell her that KBB has it for this price and that you'll give her that much for it, considering the car is OBVIOUSLY worth more than that!

sometimes that is actually bad. My first car was a 87 plymouth horizon with 30,000 miles on it, in like 2001. same deal, lil old ladies town car, babied and everything. me being a 17 year od punk, beat it a bit and it couldn't handle anything. i had to replace the timing belt, water pump, gaskets, etc. it only costed me 200 bucks cause she died and her son was just getting rid of it. its like the car was used to being hardly drivin, so when i got a hold of it it just fell apart. so if you get it, its almost like you have to be extra careful, like it is a brittle unused car if ya know what i mean. or it could have just been i relaly beat the hell outta it! i dunno, just telling ya my experience with no miles on older cars.

If it were being sold to enthusiasts, it's worth a shitload more than blue book--especially if it's not rusted to hell on the body and chassis.

In Cali, that thing would fetch $5k if it were clean.

what color and model? if it is a nice combo like a white si then it could make the deal even sweeter if you were later planning on selling it

Do your great grandparents a favor and sell it for them. I'm sure someone on this board would be willing to payt he extra money for a mint car.

That is a dream project car
