ok i admit i was stupid !! my R lost control at long curve turn and ran over the curb and hit firehydrant, all this due to my summer tire(yws i didnt change to snow tire)
now i need front bump skirt and headlights ! the dmg was too bad and good news is my insu. is gona pay for my xenon lights too hope there was no dmg inside. and cop gave me a careless driving ticket, but i will fight for that ticket. the cop was a bitch, he told me a performce car like that with performance tires on cant lost control unless i was driving over 140km, god i was at second gear i told him and he told me a car like that sec gear goes to 120km..#@$#$ it is a close ratio gear, and we all know summer tire dont grip when temp is low around 6c plus it was kinda wet too, but cop said it's a summer tire and it's not snowing yet so summer tire can handle it unless i'm going fast. omfg i cant understand what the hell is this cop thinking.

 

damn that sucks...hope you beat the ticket. cops are ****** man.

i've let xcopper take over my case now so basically i dont do anything but let them fight for me.
and that cop was really @#$# i didnt show any disrespect , as soon as he came and ask me if i was racing and i said no, he starting shouting at me and call me a ******* lier, give me a break, yes i'll race at 8 oclck in the morning ? how stupid and told me my sec gear goes to 140km, i told him there is no way my sec gear can go that fast and he call me a ******* lier again. he did actually use the word "****"so many times

Cops do discriminate a bit against kids in imports - agree or disagree, Ive gotten treated much worse in my yellow ITR than I did in my black Civic or mom's red Mustang.

I am 20. I dont know how old GettaluvR is but from the way he types he can't be older than 25...

there are a bunch of ITR owners on here that are like 16 or so....TypeRlover is really young (17-18), as are KeyedITR, laxRman, Rguy (20 I think), Type R 599 is like 17, and a couple newbies are 16. All of them got the ITR as their first car.

 

cops are ****** when they just follow you for like 5 minutes. and i know they're following me, i go down all odd residential streets and they're still behind. that happened to me once. i was scared shitless too. didn't want to get in trouble for anything.

 

especially when your asian and have an exhaust and a wing. i look like a tipical ricer to them. damn

 

I know of one other that gots a mark in it.... So 5?

hell Im 21 and its my 3rd car, not due to wrecks, but leases being up. Mine is now going ot have to take a trip to the body shop, or i might have my friend do it as to not show that it has work done.

Now i think i might sell it and get a WRX or somehting. Bad luck is a comin in this car... first the tranny, now this...

Yeah lately the ITR has definitely been cursed. So many thefts, so many crashes. It's really amazing. Dave, don't get a WRX. they are nice cars but a bit boring.

 

i dont know but WRX is a rally car, it isnt like R, suspension evrything else is pretty different compare to R, and for that kinda price range i'd go with IS300, it's only couple thousand difference.
actually i'm kinda regret i didnt buy is300, yes it's a bit slower and handling isnt good as R but it's pretty close and just think of all the luxury that R dont have pretty worth of what u r paying for. last time i saw is300 at track, it's not a bad car for autocross, 3litre plus if u can put a turbo in it . man it's gonna be a nice nice car. after all u wont have to worry about theft...

for me it has been, respect all of them, get few respect in return. I have been let go of my last three times being pulled over but at the same time, I wasnt shown equal respect other then not getting finded. I think cops have a bad enough job, I wouldnt want to make it worse.
