Default Civic Si

Hey yall im new here and i wanted to ask a qiuck question......

Would it be worth it to buy a 00 si with 118k miles???? its only 7995... and the only mod it has is 17 inch wheels.

I was thinking about going ls/vtec and keeping the b16 head and putting a new valvetrain in it and putting a stock b18b block.

How does this sound, i would go ls/vtec in the future like 5-7k down the road...

depends upon your tastes...if you'd rather have an Si than a hatch with a swap or something, I would keep the stock B16A2 in it...unless of course you go with an R motor or something. LS/VTEC would be a waste of a good B16!

those miles are high...but if it was taken care of...that isnt really a big deal. If the rest of the car is in good condition I say go for it. I paid the same for my 00 HX with 54K on it. Presented with both...I would have gotten the SI

ehh... if the frame is clean on the Si... wouldn't be bad.. but you can prob. have more fun in a hatch with a bad *** swap...

if it's in good condiotn i would buy it. you don't see si's everyday, and 99-00's have tuned suspension(still not the greatest but better than other civics)

dont mater about the miles..the car will last 1,000,000 miles, just replace the block with another A2 with less miles. i bought one for $200 a onth ago with less then 40k miles on it. COMPLETE
