Default newb question

Is it even worth the money to start up on a n/a project on a 00 si civic. I was more thinking more of ls/vtec. I know these n/a projects are very popular on hatches but is it worth the money u guys think on 00 si? I really dont want to force induct my car, and i always thought n/a was pimp. So u guys give me an input on what i should do.

thanks

$3000 dollars down the road you'll be kicking yourself in the ******** because you didn't go FI. NA works on hatches because they're light. Your 2k civic is a pig by comparison and you'll need all the grunt you can get. Resleeve that bish and throw some forged internals and a supercharger on it. That'll get you down the road in a hurry

if your looking for a setup to go off of every one will say CTR piston's and then a top of the line company for hte head work. i would also suggest doing some weight reduction on your car like striping trunk and such

n/a will obviously be more expensive and yeild less horsepower in the long run. but if you are serious about it i suggest:

ctr intake cam
adjustable cam gears
jdm 4-1 header/highflow cat
cai
vafc
**tuning**

edit:forgot to mention the skunk2 intake manifold

that should yeild around 165 whp...depending on how strong your motor is

btw: i planned on going n/a with my Si, but within a few months ill be turning to the darkside. its just too much fun

Unless you wanna gut the car and see if you can get about 600lbs out of it, go FI if you are trying to go moderatly fast
