Default Just did compression test....I also have a tranny ???

I just did a compression test on my engine. #'s are 225, 235, 230, 230
Is this about right? Using Craftsman compression gauge.

Also, noticed a noise when I let off the throttle. It's like a slight bearing noise. Is this normal? I have a CV boot leaking grease....could that be the problem? <--- I think it's also causing a slight vibration that I have. I just hope it's nothing transmission related.
Thanks.

lol, you have three questions in one. anyway, i wouldn't be worried about your numbers because there aren't any significant difference in any of your numbers.

I think it's your bearings, should change out the whole axle.

Changing the axle and the intermediate shaft bearing soon so we'll see. Hopefully one of them is making the noise.

check your bearings....those compression #'s are pretty good, no need to worry or anything

Yeah that s what I thought...

As for the tranny making bearing noises/ Get it inspected by a professional, Mine went bad, very bad after I heard the noises and have to have the cases and bearing replaced.

That engine is about to blow up. Quick, trade motors with me.
