Default Skunk2 intake manifold problem i think

After i installed a skunk2 intake on my GSR, whenever i start my car, it idles at like 2500 rpm until the engine warmsup, i still have the stock throttle body and computer, is there a way to adjust this?

I dont think it's vacuum since it goes away after it warms up, but for sure the computer wants to increase the engine flow when cold which is harder with a single plain manifold now..

what do i do ?!? it's annonying as hell

Sounds like you have an IACV problem. Did you try cleaning the iacv? I am going thru something similar. When the car is cold, it idles @ 1500rpm and once it warms up it goes down too 800rpm.

I thought that kind of idle was normal. Mine does it every time it's cold. It's a bone stock 99 LS, bought from Carmax with 65xxx miles, and now it has 76xxx. Did it from day one of my ownership. Maybe I just inherited the problem from a previous owner.

Check ALL your vacuum lines. ALL of them. I remember having this problem too and I found out one of the vacuum hoses came loose.

well i fixed my problem, and apparently it happens to a lot of integra..

I took apart the FIT valve, fast idle thermo valve, it's mounted on the bottom side of the throttle body, cleaned it all up, remounted it and it runs smooth now.

hope it helps others, 96 and up integra, the fit and iac are a one piece, 94 on mine is separate.
