are craftsman adjustable timing guns accurate?
im going to buy a timing gun but im alittle sceptical that an adjustable(dial type) would be accurate or even needed.
does anyone have any bad experience with a particular brand/style of light? thanks

mine had been fine for almost 6 years. now the leads are getting kinda touchy. but hell, for a timing light purchased in 98, it has been good.
Good stuff unless you have a MSD.. then your screwed, the timing light will fire on the first pulse which will cause you to set the timing advanced.. ( guess how i found that out)

I have a question about using the timing gun. When you set the dial **** to zero is it suppose to line up with the 16degree mark on the pulley?? Because when I put the dial **** to zero is line up with my 16 degree mark and when I advance it to 16degree on the ****, it line up with the 0 degree mark on the pulley?? Is it suppose to be like that? Thanks.
