Default Turbo GSR CRX

Here is my friends TURBO GSR CRX. still yet to lay down a good pass (few bugs), but i am positive itll be FAST (one day)

the rattle can paintjob

hydro ITR tranny with hasport conversion

hacked up front end to clear everything (he is running traction bars)

i will update it more as he gives me more pics (pending how good or bad u people like it, if all i get is hate then i will not update it as it would be useless)

also, his plans are to have a 1 peice front when he is done. and hopefully he will need a cage. also after this season he is getting a sleeved block and building a monster. i think hes insane.

Do what you gotta do to go fast right?!!!!!

For a crossmember that looks like mine . That damn return line is hard to clear w/o a traction bar!

haha, u should have seen it when he got the car, it had sat for about a year with aircraft stripper poured on it. rather nasty. i also painted flames on it b4 he did the whole car, and they looked like lobster claws (i told him i made em look like that so they would threaten the tires that they would pinch them if they didnt hook... i guess u had to be there).

Where's he going to dump the wastegate exhaust?

I hope not right into the oil feed line that sure would heat things up!

Oh, and I wouldn't even start the car with that oil drain line!

i dont think so

since crx was a cable clutch, this is basically the reverse kit they have that allows u to run the cable clutch in a hydro car. it allows u to run the hydro tranny with a cable clutch. so basically u dont have to add the resiviour (sp.) lines n **** to run a hydrolauic transmission. i am not good at explaining these type of thing. sorry

he fabbed a dump tube, all the under the hood shots were prior to him running it, he has added a dump tube and im pretty sure he fixed that line.

Looks like it just mechanically actuates the clutch slave cylinder. It must have some provision for clutch adjustment, since it is no longer hydraulically self-adjusting.

Cool idea though.

no, it eliminates all hydro peices, no slave cyl, no resivior, no brakes lines running between the two.

it uses the cable to pull an arm which pulls another lever which disengages the clutch. as if it were a cable transmission.

Wow, it's like the unwrecked undented unrusted not-white alter ego of my CRX. Only mine's shittier.

Those slicks on Diamond Racing Wheels? I'm about to have a set of those in 13X9 for my slicks.

well this car was originally purchased at an auction, my friend bought it lowered it and made it look GOOD and put a b18 in it, he sold it to a rice, it blew 2 engines got painted interior and all the ricey features, that guy sold it to another guy who sat it in his yard with aircraft stripper on it and let ur rust, then my buddy bought it back for next to nothing and it became project 1 week racecar, we pulled all wiring hooked all requires items fuel pump, lights, etc etc. up to a switch and it had a gsr with a j1 tranny in it. and went 13.0. then he put the gsr in his del sol with a turbo kit, then his mom wated the del sol so racecar came back to life.

o and while it may not be wrecked, it has dents and surface rust.
