please help, no compression in cyl 3 or 4, what do i do?
i already started taking the head off but ive never done it before, so far im i have the cams out, and i can see that the oil and antifreeze mixed pretty bad, i was at the track and missed 5th i guess and over reved and the car shut off, it wouldnt start again, so i changed the oil, took out the plugs, really black on the tips, and there is some antifreeze sprayed on only the pass side of the engine bay and top of the hood... how hard is the remaining parts of taking the head off, i tried searching,l but maybe im not typing up the right words.. any help is greatly appreciated, oh and if i do have bad rings, pistons, rods, ect where would you guys suggest i buy them from and is it something i cna install myself? thank you

Takes me about 30 mins to pull off a head.
I've ordered all my parts from importbuilders.com and it took me a day to install the parts without pulling the motor out. Poped off the oil pan and removed everything. I used ACL rod bearings. Gapped the rings and put everything back together and it started up in 1 crank...
However, "The proper way", would be to remove the whole block and have the main bearings and thrust bearing changed and the motor balanced. But seeing that you have a 2000 Si, the main bearings should still be good.
