Default Hole saws...

Quick question. What brand hole saws are you guys using to punch holes in manifolds for the wg? For the past few years we've just used the ones from Home Depot and they are only good for a manifold then are dead. Since our volume of fabrication has gone through the roof in the past few months we need to find a faster way of doing this.

Any ideas or comments are welcome, thanks

If you have a mill stop using hole saws.

If you have to use hole saws, slow them waaaaaay down. Like 150 rpm, and alot of rapid tap.

and you can do alot more w/it! Just make sure you stuff the hell out of the backside of the hole, and clean up around the cut, otherwise welding is a chore(and weak).

Pull the tungsten out of your gun and turn the amps up to 150 and use your welder to cut a hole Then just start grinding away
