ctr piston or toda piston?
hey was up guy im going all motor here on my EG with a itr engine i was wonder wats betta ctr pistons or toda forged piston at 82mm? which would give me a high compression? all inputs would be great here
i always wanna know it will clear my head or do i have to horne it ? should the CTR jsut drop in with no modification to the head

ctr pistons would give you a 10.8 compression, a jdm type r motor has a compression of 11.1 and a usdm has a compression of 10.6. I wouldn't suggest ctr's if you have a itr because of the cost for such a small gain and that's only if you have a usdm itr. if you are looking for significant compression gains look into Wiseco, JG, and Arias pistons
you know what i was wrong. the pct pistons (ctr's) will give you a compression of atleast 12.0 check out this link http://technet.ff-squad.com/cr-calculator.htm
CTR pistons are about $300 and you can use stock rods with no modification. Toda pistons are about $800 and require machining the rods to work. If $$ are a consideration, then the choice is clear.
