ok here is what i have a 88 crx with a d16a6 swap...the problem i am having is that when i step on the gas the car sputeers,and i can not ease on the gas to remain at one speed. i ahve to go up to a certain speed and let off then accelerate again back to that speed. i drove 4 hours like this today...needless to say my ankle is sore!!! lol also i the car will idle high then low...but if ui take my foot and put it under the peddle and pull up it will idle just fine?
any help or suggestions will be greatly appreciated

 

mabe you should adjust your trottle cable?

 

maybe try buying a new rotor for the distributor or change the fuel filter.
