I have a 2005 Civc EX Special Edition, the stock stereo is sweet, I'm trying to find if there are RCA outputs on the back of it. Since I just got it 2 days ago, I don't want to take out the deck to find out.

Why not? The day I brought my brand new '98 home from the dealership I had the entire car gutted to run lines for the stereo...

My 95 Integra's OEM HU was a Pioneer. I don't think any of the OEM radios have RCA's though. A few years back when I installed an amp to my OEM radio, they had to convert a speaker output into an RCA.

yup. about 99% of the time, any stock unit will NOT have RCA outputs. try searching the web for a loc (line output converter). I've seen it on ebay for around $20. it splices usually into the factory speaker lines to give you an RCA output to do whatever you wish.

but the thing is, if you have an amp for the rca, you might as well get a nice deck.
Factory cd players just don't cut it.

I have a 96 Accord EX and I don't know who makes the stock radio but it was a POS compared to my aftermarket head unit. I'm kind of an audio phile and found that by changing out the Headunit the sound got much cleaner and louder without being distorted. I replaced the speakers 2 days later and it got a little bit better but the HU was the biggest improvement.

Stock desk is made by Alpine and has low level outs. Speakers and amps are made by Bose.

If I get a loc I'm going to get a good quality one instead of a cheap one. Thanks guys. I love my car, and the stereo is awesome for stock.
