Default gsr in a civic swap problem

hey guys, im swapping a 99 usdm gsr motor into a 00 civic ex. im having difficulty with the wiring because i didnt realize thatthe car was obd2b and the gsr was obd2a. first of all the computers are totally different in plugs, so i got an obd2b computer...fine...i still cant get the car to crank... i suppose its the car-harness thats not matching up with the motor harness, has anyone ever had this problem before? i dont think its something a "jumper harness" can fix so please, if anyone of you guys is serious, help me out, thanx

We need more specific details. Have you checked to see that you're getting fuel? What about spark? Is everything grounded correctly? Did you double check to make sure everything is plugged in? Have you considered the fact that maybe your OBD-2B ECU might have an immobilizer that will need to be removed?

There are endless possibilities. We need more details. You may also want to try the "Hybrid" forum.
