Default is a fiberglass rear hatch legal in sfwd?

Just as it says. Im thinking of getting one and want to know if it is legal before buying one. And is a carbon fiber insert for a sunroof legal?

I was having the same doubts about the sunroof plug recently. Most people on here confirmed that it shouldn't be a problem, although I have heard of some instances where techs will give racers a hard time about it. All I know that if it ends up not being legal, I will be f-in pissed b/c I just installed mine and now the cage is already in.

I beleive the techs will "overlook" the sunroof plugs in the future. I am not to sure about the hatch though. Depending on how stock it looks you might be able to run it.

As for the sunroof insert, nhra tech's will give you a hard time about it. A friend of mine here in salt lake went to the race in las vegas with a plug and tech would not let him go. He also had no roll cage, or any safty equipment also. Maybe if you where 100% legal (safty equipment) it would be different. No where in the rule book does it say that you can or cant on either. Here is what I say, Call Jim Skelly at NHRA for the final verdict.

Don't make any assumptions when it comes to rules. Make sure the part you want to put is legal for the class. It sucks when you come to the track and you are bumped off a class just because of some part.

P.S. Sup Jason.. I heard the car is strong. Hope to see all you UTah guys here in the last 3 races of the year.
