Default what to look for when buying a head(core)

Im thinking of purchasing a gsr(p72 head)
Its a 94-95 so its kind of old. What should i look for?
This head is just the core no cams, intake manifold, cam gears, ect.

If it's still assembled pour some solvent into the ports to see if they leak,That way you'll know if any valves hit and major damage occured.

make sure the head surface and combustion chamber isnt all banged up. make sure it has cam caps since i think most are designed for each specific head. check for bent valves and all the valvetrain is there. and take a straight edge to it and make sure its not warped
